Br. Hugo has been collaborating pastorally with some Latino parishioners of St. Columbkille Parish since October 2021. He named his group Disciples of Prayer. His goal is to help them discover God’s presence in the simplicity of their lives in the light of the Bible. He meets them not only at the parish on Sundays at 11:00 A.M. but also on Fridays at 7:45 P.M. at the Assumptionist Center in Brighton every other week. For him, it has been a transforming faith experience because there is no greater joy than making a disciple of Jesus for the extension of his Kingdom.
