Last night during the Vigil of the Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, the Assumption Family gathered in Lourdes to pray for everyone’s intentions. We prayed for the infirm, the suffering, and those who are finding their way. Of course, we prayed for more religious vocations!
The Assumptionist Brothers from our North America Province have been accompanying a group of pilgrims since last month, attending World Youth Day related activities in Elche, Spain and Lisbon Portugal. Now on the last leg of their journey, they are united in prayer celebrating 150 years of the Pelerinage National in Lourdes, an Assumptionist-sponsored pilgrimage.
