Ascension Thursday 2024 – Austin Prep
Austin Prep came together today for the final all-school Mass of the 2023-2024 academic year. The Ascension Thursday Mass was celebrated by Fr. Dennis M. Gallagher, A.A., Vicar Provincial of the Assumptionist North American Province and VP for Mission at Assumption University in Worcester, MA.
Ascension Thursday commemorates the bodily Ascension of Jesus into Heaven, or as Fr. Gallagher described it, “mission accomplished.”
