After a long journey which started in Butembo in the Congo and then via car and bus by Goma, Fr. Pacifique arrived in Boston on March 15 to begin his preparation for higher education studies in the United States.
His journey consisted of traveling under the escort of the Congo military through the national park on the east part of the country, known for recent attacks, kidnappings, and killings of the travelers, to Kigali in Rwanda.
