Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all !
In a letter to Marie-Eugénie de Jésus (Foundress of the Religious of the Assumption) on December 14, 1868, our founder Emmanuel d’Alzon wrote: “It seems to me that nothing is so admirable as to take advantage of the Church’s feasts to bring Jesus Christ to birth in souls in a more perfect way each year, and then to grow and develop in imitation of the divine Master living in us.”

A little boy was very happy to participate in a Nativity play that took place in his parish church. He played the role of an innkeeper. He was assigned to send Mary and Joseph away when they requested for a room in the inn.

Mass at Assumption for Christmas Eve will be at 8:00 PM on Tuesday, December 24 in the Chapel of the Holy Spirit. A reception with refreshments will follow the Mass in the Lauring Community Room in the Tinsley Campus Ministry Center. All are welcome to the Mass and reception.

A group of 13 college students from Worcester will travel to the U.S.-Mexico border in El Paso, Texas, Saturday morning.
This is the fourth time Assumption University has made the trip since 2022.

Have you ever wondered what teachings The Little Prince could leave us for religious life? This questioning came to my mind for the first time when Father Roland Guilmain gave us a speech of thanksgiving to God and to our religious community for his 97 years of life.

On December 14th, the Assumptionist Center in Brighton radiated warmth and joy as it hosted the Christmas Pastolera, ‘The Star of Belen,’ bringing together a diverse community. Over 100 guests gathered to experience the vibrant celebration, which showcased the beauty of unity and collaboration.
