Day 1 Highlights: All the pilgrims arrived safely, full of excitement and energy! For the next three days, we’re staying at the Josefino Retreat House, close to Emperatriz Parish in Mexico City. Fr. Sebastien led our Opening Mass, blessing the pilgrims as we began our journey.

I was born on February 26, 1996, in Masaka, Uganda. I am the fifth of nine children in the late Ssenkumba Aloysious Musoke and Immaculate Naggayi family living in Kiwunga-Kyamuliibwa Parish. I received my nursery education from St. Benedict Primary School (2002-2003) and my primary education at St. Leonard Kyamulibwa Primary School (2004–2009). During these years, I began to explore my faith, growing to love the daily rosary and undertaking pilgrimages
The Augustinians of the Assumption in the Congo held their annual retreat in Butembo-Beni, wrapping up on Friday, July 26, 2024. For a week, they focused on “Vulnerability, Mourning, and Figures of Hope.”
The Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, a Roman Catholic holyday of obligation and the patronal feast of Assumption University, will be celebrated on Thursday, August 15. Services in the Chapel of the Holy Spirit will be Morning Prayer at 8 AM, Mass at 12 Noon and Evening Prayer at 5:35 PM

I started to think about the formation of leaders even before being in a position of leadership. I took advantage of a booklet prepared in 2008 by Fr. Richard Lamoureux, our former Superior General, and his team.
