On Saturday, 12 November, two brothers of the African Province made final profession of vows at the Jesuit Chapel of Hekima College, with some two-hundred friends and family members in attendance.  The Eucharistic celebration, at 11 in the morning, was concelebrated by some fifteen Assumptionists and other priest friends and presided by Fr. Richard Lamoureux, Superior General.

Brother Germain is from the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Brother Simon is from Kenya.  Brother Germain is currently studying theology, while Brother Simon having completing theological study has been assigned to Arusha (Tanzania), where he will coordinate the efforts of the Assumptionist Vocation Team of the East African Region.

The celebration following the profession ceremony was held at the residence of the Assumptionist community in Nairobi.
