Cassadaga Reunion -- September 2005 PDF Print E-mail

CassadagansFour months ago I wrote of a luncheon reunion of former Cassadagans, that was held at Rom’s restaurant in Sturbridge MA. Last Sunday, September 18, an even greater number came to Brighton for a picnic style reunion. SEE PICTURES

In spite of predicted hurricane aftermath, we decided to press our luck and held our cookout in the Brighton community’s back yard. The weather couldn’t have been nicer and so for five or six hours, 20 plus guys and several wives joined the Brighton Assumptionists for a thoroughly enjoyable get-together.

My one year at OLLO PDF Print E-mail

I attended OLLO during its last year in NY, after which we all moved to Worcester. I have wonderfull memories of friendship, with folks like Jeff Archambault and Pete Cousimano. Unfortunately Pete left this world in 12/69. A great loss of a terrific guy. I remember intramural soccer, getting demerits for moving our beds onto the front porch (and lots of other reasons!), and the valued bonding with friends and faculty. My brother, Claude, attended during OLLO's last 2 years in NY and he also holds wonderful memories. I'm thrilled to have found this website!

First, I want to thank Br. Stephen for setting up this great web site. It's a nice opportunity to catch up with some old friends. I came across the site almost by accident yesterday and found it very interesting. It was also great to read up on those of you whom I know and see what you are up to these days.

A Word From Matt PDF Print E-mail

Thanks to you and Tomas and the others for inviting us and being such great hosts. My only regret it that the reunion didn't go on longer. I though you might like to see the attached. Thanks again.

"Bro.,Shirley and I have been away for most of the week. We went to Galilee, RI on Mon.
Then proceeded to Gloucester and Rockport on Wed. and Thurs.
We wanted to let you know how much we appreciated the support of and the planning
by you and your staff for last Sunday's get together.
