All members of the Assumption community are invited to participate in any part of this time of prayer. Other opportunities for prayer in the Chapel on January 22 include Morning Prayer at 8:00 AM, Mass at 5:00 PM, Evening Prayer at 5:35 PM, Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament from 8:30 to 10:00 PM, and the Sacrament of Reconciliation from 8:35 to 9:30 PM.

God our creator,
we give thanks to you,
who alone have the power to impart the breath of life
as you form each of us in our mother’s womb;
grant, we pray,
that we, whom you have made stewards of creation,
may remain faithful to this sacred trust
and constant in safeguarding the dignity of every human life.
Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son,
who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
one God, for ever and ever. Amen.
