A Volunteer Answering God’s Call
By the grace of God, Dr. Magalie Torres Rowe, an Assumptionist volunteer serving in Nairobi, had the opportunity to spend time with students at our Assumption High School in Nairobi. Her visit reflects the spirit of our international mission, where volunteers generously share their gifts while learning from the vibrant faith and culture of the communities they serve.
Preparing Students for Success
As students prepare for their national examinations, Dr. Magalie presented an engaging session entitled ‘The Brain and Study Techniques.’ Through practical study strategies and words of encouragement, she inspired the students to build confidence, strengthen their learning habits, and prepare diligently for this important milestone.
A Warm Welcome and a Hopeful Future
Our own Fr. Benard Yala, A.A., Principal of our Nairobi school, warmly welcomed Dr. Magalie and introduced her to the students. The gathering beautifully reflected how faith, education, and community come together to inspire young minds and prepare them for the future.
