Welcome Fr. Zbigniew
We welcome to our community Fr. Zbigniew Stępniak from Poland. Fr. Zbigniew is a priest of the diocese of Warmia, Poland, a singer (bass, basso-profondo), graduate of Music and Vocal Schools in Poland. He holds a PhD in history and a postdoctoral degree in musical arts, specializing in vocal performance. He is a professor at the Institute of Music at the University of Warmia and Mazury, Poland.
As a singer, his repertoire includes works by composers from the Renaissance to the contemporary period: opera bass arias, songs, oratorio and cantata works, and particularly rarely performed Baroque compositions for basso-profondo. He has recorded nine solo CDs.
Concert: PILGRIMS OF HOPE by choirs from Polish-American Parishes from Boston under the direction of MARTA SALETNIK, Salem under the direction of ALICJA REKŚĆ, and Webster under the direction of Maria Czarnecka-Cieslak. All are welcome!
