Desert seems a hard place to live; yet it is a wonderful place to renewal. One returns to deserted place to know the true self better and his/her own Creator. The Gospel reading today invites us to enter our own deserted place to know ourselves and God better. We hope that we follow Jesus’ example and overcome our own temptations in life.
