Annual Fund Letter
April 2025
Dear Partners
Christ is Risen – Alleluia!
This Easter season fills us with joy, not only in the Resurrection of our Lord, but also in the graces of the Church’s Jubilee Holy Year. It is a sacred time to rediscover God’s mercy, rekindle our hope, and renew our mission to proclaim the Gospel.
As Assumptionists, we embrace this Jubilee with enthusiasm. In the spirit of our founder, Fr. Emmanuel d’Alzon, who envisioned religious and lay people working together to build God’s Kingdom, we invite you, our faithful partners, to support us on this journey of hope in serving our sisters and brothers on our pilgrimage toward the Kingdom where Jesus’ resurrection gives us deep joy.
We are especially blessed this year to announce that the Assumptionists are now caring for a second parish in El Paso, Texas, alongside our growing ministry to border communities. Time flies, the situation changes, but the needs at the border remain the same in different ways. Our Assumptionist brothers and Lay volunteers now go across the border to be with the immigrants, to provide them the basic needs, and to celebrate the Eucharist, the only sign of hope for them at the charism of solidarity with the marginalized, pastoral zeal, and communion in mission.
Your prayerful and financial support makes this possible. It helps us:
- Sustain our new and existing ministries, both at home and abroad
- Care for our elder brothers who have served faithfully for decades
- Support the formation of young men discerning their vocation
- Continue outreach through parishes, campus ministry, and international missions
Your generosity – through prayers, friendship, and gifts of any size – enables us to serve and bear witness to Christ in the many places we are called.
Be assured of our prayers for you, especially during this Easter season and throughout the Jubilee. May this be a time of profound renewal for us all, and may our shared work bear abundant fruit for God’s Kingdom.
With Easter joy and Jubilee blessings,
Fr. Dinh G. Votran, A.A. – Development Office Director
