By Brother Daniele Caglioni, A.A.
A Day of Discernment and Drafting
The entire day was dedicated to drafting the final documents of the International Missionary Session. Our brothers worked together on a letter to the Superior General, a summary of the insights and experiences that emerged throughout the session, and a series of proposals aimed at strengthening our missionary practice as a Congregation. Every discussion called for careful discernment, collaboration, and openness to the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
Serving the Mission Together
Although it was a long and demanding day, it proved to be a valuable learning experience. The drafting process offered a deeper appreciation for the responsibility involved in shaping the life and mission of the Assumption. As Brother Daniele Caglioni reflected, “Now I know what delegates go through during General Chapters!” It was a reminder that missionary service is lived not only through action, but also through prayerful reflection, dialogue, and shared responsibility.
Looking Ahead with Hope
We pray that the work accomplished during this session will help us bear a more faithful witness to the Kingdom of God, deepen our Assumptionist vocation, and renew our missionary zeal. May these reflections inspire our brothers throughout the Congregation to continue proclaiming the Gospel with courage, generosity, and hope.
Please continue to keep all of our brothers in your prayers as they continue this missionary formation journey in Tanzania.
Stay tuned as we continue sharing highlights from the International Missionary Session in Tanzania.
