On Memorial Day, the Assumptionists at St. Anne – St. Patrick Parish came together to celebrate the lives of their brothers who have passed on. Fr. Chi Ai’s homily highlighted the significance of this liturgical celebration, reminding us to pray for and pay homage to the religious Assumptionists who dedicated their lives to service and the Assumptionist charism.
Their selfless devotion and passion continue to inspire us, and their legacy serves as a powerful reminder of the importance of living a life of faith, service, and love. After Mass, a joyful cookout brought the Assumptionist family together, fostering bonds of fraternity and friendship.
The celebration was made even more special as they marked a milestone in the life of their beloved Pastor, Rev. Luc Martel, A.A., with a birthday greeting. We join in wishing him many more years of serving the Lord and the Assumptionist community with love and joy.
In this celebration, we express gratitude for the Assumptionist brothers who have gone before us, and we renew our commitment to continue their mission of spreading the Gospel and serving others with love and compassion.
