This past weekend Father Ron Sibugan, A.A accompanied 27 students from Yermo High in El Paso, TX, on their senior retreat. It was a day for reflection, prayers, appreciation and presentations.
The 27 students were presented with gifts of crown/tiara as a symbol of the beginning of a new phase of their life, bible/cross as reminder that they are a gift from God to their family, to the church and to the world, and the scepter which is a symbol of the great responsibility that they are assuming in their lives.
All of the gifts are special signs of their loyalty and commitment to God, family and community. These gifts that they will carry with them as they begin their new journey.
Father Ron also presided the end of the school year liturgy.
