Fr. Oswaldo’s Visit: A Living Witness of Faith and Service in El Paso

Fr. Oswaldo and Brother Daniele

During his recent time with the Assumptionist community in El Paso, Fr. Oswaldo has shared in both prayer and mission, offering a beautiful example of pastoral presence rooted in the Gospel. His visit has been marked by moments of teaching, celebration of the Eucharist, and direct service to those most in need.

Serving Christ in the Poor

Together with Brother Daniele, Fr. Oswaldo participated in the Assumptionists’ ongoing outreach to people experiencing homelessness in the El Paso area. Through the simple but powerful gesture of sharing meals, conversation, and time, this ministry continues to reflect the compassionate heart of Christ present among His people. In addition to this special outreach, Fr. Oswaldo has been offering a lecture series on the meaning and beauty of the Mass, helping deepen the community’s understanding of the Eucharist as the center of Christian life. He has also celebrated Mass with the faithful, strengthening bonds of communion and shared mission. His presence among us is a reminder that the Assumptionist vocation is lived not only in preaching and teaching, but also in accompaniment—walking with others in faith, hope, and charity. We are grateful for this time of fellowship and service, and for the witness of a ministry that continues to bring the Gospel to life in El Paso.
