Father Barry Bercier, an Augustinian of the Assumption, had the opportunity to visit the Newman Center at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. He celebrated the evening mass, and in his homily, he made many references to the political descriptions in the Old Testament and Jesus’s revelatory perspective of the powers of the world. Following mass, he spoke to students at the weekly Sunday Supper meeting, sharing about his vocation, ministries all over the world, and especially about the relationship between Christians and Jews. The students were very interested in the topics and appreciated the presentation and their conversations with Father Barry.
