Have you experienced the loss of a loved one and found healing through the support of others? Or do you have a compassionate heart and a desire to walk alongside those who are grieving?
This fall, St. Anne–St. Patrick Parish will offer Grieving with Great Hope, a Catholic grief support program created by John and Sandy O’Shaughnessy of Good Mourning Ministry. We are looking for one or two parishioners who would be interested in serving alongside Christine Williams as co-leaders for this meaningful ministry.
You do not need to be a counselor or grief expert. What matters most is a caring heart, a willingness to listen, and a desire to accompany others with compassion and hope. Training materials and the program resources make it easy to facilitate.
The workshop series will meet on Saturdays at 9:00 a.m. in the Rendezvous on:
- September 12
- September 19
- September 26
- October 3
- October 10
If you have been considering a way to share your gifts in service to others, we invite you to prayerfully consider this opportunity. If you are interested or would simply like to learn more, please contact the parish office at 508-347-7338 or email Christine Williams at [email protected]. Thank you for considering this ministry of hope and healing.
