Our Lady of Częstochowa Parish Celebrates Corpus Christi
On the Solemnity of Corpus Christi, the faithful of Our Lady of Częstochowa Parish in Worcester gathered to celebrate the Holy Eucharist and participate in a prayerful Eucharistic procession. The celebration brought together members of Worcester’s Polish Catholic community in a joyful expression of faith and devotion to Christ present in the Blessed Sacrament.
Fr. Richard Joins Polish Priests at the Altar
Fr. Richard Maheninarivo, A.A., concelebrated the Mass together with Fr. Tomasz Góra, pastor of the parish, and Fr. Marcin Gazda, a visiting priest from Poland. Their shared celebration reflected the unity of the Church and the deep faith of the Polish community gathered for this important solemnity.
A Public Witness of Faith
Following Mass, parishioners participated in a Eucharistic procession through the parish grounds. The faithful stopped at three outdoor altars where the Gospel was proclaimed and prayers were offered, giving public witness to Christ’s presence among His people.
Living the Assumptionist Mission
The participation of Fr. Richard highlighted the Assumptionists’ commitment to accompanying local communities and helping people encounter Christ. Gathered around the Eucharistic Lord, the faithful were reminded that the Gospel is meant to be lived not only within church walls but also in everyday life.
