On Monday evening, the Assumptionist Center community gathered to continue celebrating the joy of Easter— a time marked not only by liturgical prayer but also by shared fellowship and gratitude. Rooted in the hope of the Resurrection, the evening became a simple yet powerful expression of faith lived together.
Prayer at the Heart of the Celebration
The evening began with Evening Prayer in the Center’s chapel, beautifully decorated with the bright colors of spring. These signs of new life reflected the deeper meaning of the Easter season: the enduring presence of Christ’s Resurrection bringing joy and peace to the community. Gathered in prayer, the brothers and guests gave thanks together for the gift of renewed hope that Easter proclaims.
A Shared Table of Fellowship
Following prayer, the celebration continued with a festive surf and turf meal shared among community members and guests. Lobster, thoughtfully and generously prepared by Fr. Dinh together with Michelle, became a special highlight of the evening. The shared table offered a moment of warmth and connection—an expression of hospitality that reflects the spirit of the Assumptionist mission lived in everyday community life.
Living the Easter Season Together
Moments like these remind us that the joy of Easter extends beyond the altar into the rhythm of daily life. In prayer, friendship, and gratitude, the Assumptionist Center community continues to witness to the living hope of the Resurrection. May this Easter season remain a time of renewed faith, peace, and shared joy for all.
