On Monday, May 25, 2026, the Assumptionists gathered for the annual Memorial Day Mass and picnic reception at St. Anne–St. Patrick Parish in Sturbridge, Massachusetts. The gathering brought together Assumptionist priests, brothers, Lay Assumptionists, parishioners, and friends for a meaningful day of prayer, remembrance, fellowship, and community.
A Special Time of Reunion and Fellowship
Each year, this Memorial Day gathering becomes one of those special moments when many members of the Assumptionist family come together from different communities and ministries. It is a time not only to remember those who have gone before us, but also to reconnect, share stories, strengthen friendships, and celebrate the spirit that unites the Assumptionist community.
A Celebration of Faith and Community
Fr. Dennis celebrated the Mass, leading the community in prayer and reflection as all gathered to honor the memory of loved ones and give thanks for the many blessings shared throughout the year. Following the Mass, everyone enjoyed a joyful picnic reception filled with conversation, laughter, and togetherness.
The annual Memorial Day celebration once again served as a beautiful reminder of the strong bonds of faith, friendship, and mission that continue to bring the Assumptionist family together year after year.
