Assumptionist Archives Are Moved to Boston College

Assumptionist Archives Are Moved to Boston College

We are excited to announce our first drop off of the Assumptionist archives to Boston College! Thank you to Boston College for storing and digitalizing the archives!

The Assumptionists have been trying to put the archives in a secure and safe place for over 20 years. Two years ago, the Assumptionists were approached by an organization from Boston College that wanted to preserve the heritage of many religious orders. The repository at Boston College helps collect, preserve, and study the documents from the various religious orders that will bring their archives to the college. After everything is processed, it will be made available for students to study.
