On this Ash Wednesday, we begin the sacred season of Lent — a forty-day journey of prayer, repentance, and renewal as we prepare our hearts for the celebration of Easter. This solemn day invites us to pause, reflect on our lives, and return to God with humility and faith. Marked with ashes, we are reminded of our need for conversion and the mercy that God continually offers us. It is a quiet but powerful beginning to a season that calls us to grow spiritually and walk more intentionally with Christ.
The Assumptionists Community in Brighton, MA
Here in Brighton, MA, the Assumptionists community gathered in our House Chapel on February 18, 2026, to celebrate Mass together. As a community of faith, we came together in prayer to receive ashes and begin this Lenten season united in spirit. The celebration was peaceful and deeply meaningful, offering a moment of reflection and grace for all who attended. Together, we embraced the call of Lent, committing ourselves to prayer, sacrifice, and charity as we journey toward Easter with hope.
