The Augustinians of the Assumption have officially begun the Centenary celebrations of the foundation of Montmartre in Quebec City. This historic milestone opens a full year dedicated to prayer, remembrance, and renewed commitment to the mission entrusted to us.
The opening celebration was presided over by Fr. Chi Ai Nguyen, Provincial of the North American Province, marking the beginning of a centenary year that calls us not only to honor our past, but to renew our mission with hope and responsibility.

More Than a Celebration
This centenary is more than a remembrance of history. It is a call to renew our mission in Quebec and across Canada, to deepen our commitment to the Gospel, and to walk faithfully in the spirit of our founders.
Under the theme “The Assumptionists and the Founders,” this year invites religious men and women, along with members of the Lay Religious Alliance, to walk together in faith, unity, and shared mission.
An Invitation to Walk With Us
We invite you to discover the full program of the centenary celebrations by visiting www.lemontmartre.ca. If possible, we encourage you to come to Quebec City and share in the joy, prayer, and fellowship of this special year with the Assumptionist community.
May this centenary year renew our faith, strengthen our bonds, and inspire us to continue the mission entrusted to us with courage, hope, and trust.
