Deacon Paul Covino’s retirement marks the end of an era at Assumption University, but his legacy of love, service, and dedication will endure. As Director of Campus Ministry since 2014, Deacon Paul has embodied the Assumptionist spirit, inspiring students to deepen their faith and relationship with Jesus Christ.
One of Deacon Paul’s greatest strengths has been his unwavering support for Latino students. He has been a constant presence, offering a listening ear, guidance, and encouragement. Through bilingual masses, spiritual formation programs, and community-building activities, he has helped create a sense of belonging and spiritual growth among Latino students.
His collaboration with Assumptionist religious and others has been instrumental in fostering a vibrant faith community on campus. Deacon Paul’s heart is truly Assumptionist, reflecting the charism of Fr. Emmanuel d’Alzon. We are grateful for his tireless dedication and look forward to his continued contributions in his retirement.
Thank you, Deacon Paul, for being a shining example of an Assumptionist heart. Your love and service will not be forgotten.
