Coming to the United States for his studies brought new experiences, challenges, and opportunities for Brother Aloysious. Reflecting on his time in the program, he shared how meaningful and enriching the journey has been — a time filled with learning, personal growth, and a deeper understanding of ministry and community life. His dedication, humility, and commitment throughout the years have inspired many within the Assumptionist community.
A Celebration Shared with the Boston College Community
Brother Aloysious received his graduation at Saint Ignatius of Loyola Catholic Church at Boston College in the presence of university officials, faculty members, families of students, friends, clergy, and many members of the wider community who gathered together for this joyful celebration. A special highlight of the occasion was the presence of Bishop Cristiano Guilherme Borro Barbosa, Auxiliary Bishop of Boston, who personally congratulated Brother Aloysious and spent time with the Assumptionist community during this memorable event.
