A Day of Grace and Mission: Assumptionists Reunion at the General House

Assumptionists Rome Reunion

As the Assumption Jubilee 2025 continues to draw hearts and pilgrims from across the world, a particularly meaningful chapter unfolded in Rome with a reunion of Assumptionists at the General House—the headquarters of the congregation.

The day began with a spiritual pilgrimage through the Holy Door at the Archbasilica of St. John Lateran, one of Rome’s most sacred thresholds during this Jubilee year. The journey continued through the rich spiritual and historical heritage of the city, with visits to the Church of St. Ignatius of Loyola and the timeless Pantheon, each offering moments of prayer, awe, and reflection.

In the afternoon, all roads led back to the General House, where the community gathered once again—this time around the Eucharistic table. Fr. Angoa delivered a deeply stirring reflection on vocation, inviting all to listen anew to the Lord’s call, whether to religious life or the sacrament of marriage. His words echoed the central call of this Jubilee: to rediscover and recommit to God’s mission in our lives.

Following this, Fr. Vincent celebrated Mass with joy and conviction, urging the community to embrace the Gospel with courage and freedom—to leave everything behind for the sake of Christ and the Kingdom.

It was more than a reunion. It was a rekindling of purpose, a celebration of unity, and a sign of the Spirit moving powerfully among us during this Jubilee year.

We give thanks for this day of grace, and we continue to walk together in faith, mission, and hope.
